The wastewater flows through the inlet pipeline to the drainage distribution pipe.
Wastewater through the slots of this pipe in upward flow passes through the sand and sorption filter. This two-layer filtration technology, used in the design of the product, purifies the effluent to the standards for discharging into waters for fishery purposes.
The treated wastewater rises to the level of the outlet branch pipe and is disposed.
It is recommended to maintain the sorption filter manufactured by NTT-Peresvet at least once a year at the end of the operating season. Maintenance of the sorption filter should begin with pumping out the water containing oil products and sludge deposits. If sorption filter is equipped with sensors, then while pumping out the substance of the sorption filter they must be removed from the filter housing in order to avoid their breakage, clean sensors from contamination and test their operation. Sorbent loading, mats of sorbent Megasorb-F, is regenerated by washing and squeezing. Due to its elastic structure achieved by alternating of dense layers and hollows, the sorbent Megasorb-F can withstand up to 500 cycles of regeneration by squeezing without losing its structure. After regeneration and back stacking of the sorbent and placing sensors in place, the sorption filter must be filled with water up to the height of the output branch pipe.
