Pressure boosting pump stations are designed to create the necessary pressure in the system, such as water supply for high rise residential buildings, hospitals, administrative and industrial buildings, industrial water supply and cooling, irrigation and rainwater systems.

Used for pressure boosting in industrial plants and sewage systems.
Stations are designed for installation in industrial, administrative, public buildings, as well as in residential apartment buildings, or in underground version, these units are complex systems designed for pumping water and other liquids from the inlet collector to the outlet one by a centrifugal pumping unit.
The operating principle is based on water accumulation and supplying at the right time under a certain pressure or fed directly from the water supply network.
THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT IS INSTALLED IN THE PUMPING STATIONS:

additional equipment (flow meter, mating flanges with fixing group, lifting equipment for mounting/dismounting of pump equipment, bellows expansion joints, maintenance hatch sensor, housing thermal insulation, slide gate valve for supply piping, expansion joints (flexible inserts), membrane tank).
Prior the installation of a complete pumping station in its designed position an excavation pit should be arranged: excavation, water level reduction, sheet piling of the excavation walls (if necessary) and concrete slab anchoring the pumping station housing to prevent its floating up under the groundwater pressure. After the pumping station housing is fixed in the designed position the pump equipment is mounted according to the manufacturer's datasheet and its connection to the electric control panel is done in accordance with the Electrical Installation Regulations , connection of input and output branch pipes of the water supply system and hydraulic testing of these connections are performed. Then backfilling, layer-by-layer with compaction by vibrating plate, of the pit around the pumping station is carried out. The final stage is commissioning and testing.
To ensure trouble-free operation of the pumping station electromechanical equipment, it is necessary to systematically monitor the readings of the equipment, check the condition of the electrical connections, equipment fixing, check the proper functioning of the earthing system of all equipment, and perform periodic maintenance of the pumping equipment. Care and maintenance of pump units must be carried out in accordance with the pump unit manufacturer's datasheet. When starting up the pump units after repairs, if the pump cable has been disconnected from the control box, the direction of the motor rotation must be checked.
