NTT  produces  GRP pipes "NTT ROAD" according to STO 99675234-001-2020, and successfully uses the products at the sites of such large organizations as Federal Road Agency and Russian Railways.
NTT ROAD pipes are used for laying under the embankments of roads of all categories, under railroads and airfield pavements. They are used to transport the effluents in mild and cold climate at the air temperature ranging from -60°С to +60°С. They are artificial culverts transporting small continuous or intermittent flows under road embankments. The pipes can be also used as crossing tunnels for people and animals.

Culverts and tunnels under the roads of all categories are arranged with the help of NTT ROAD pipes  The diameter of culverts can be ranged from 300 to 4000 mm. The pipe parameters allow use them both for drainage system arrangement and for underground passageway construction. In addition, the culvert can be used to divert the flow of rain or melt water, as well as to divert a small river.

Fiberglass (GRP) pipes NTT ROAD are used when mounting culverts, drainage and other similar facilities on railroads. These pipes have high resistance to increased loads of rail vehicles. When using GRP pipes under railroads, NTT technicians use automated software calculations with computer modeling and take into account the following factors: force and deformation loads, pipeline and transported liquid loads, hydraulic calculations, snow and wind loads, seismic impacts, loads and impacts from uneven ground deformation (fallouts, mudflow heaving, landslides, karsts, etc.)

Pipes for aerodrome construction.

An aerodrome is a complex system designed to ensure the landing, takeoff, movement (taxiing), parking and maintenance of air vehicles. The GRP pipes are used as complete solutions for a reliable drainage system in the construction of aerodromes. Adjacent facilities are constantly experiencing significant loads: dynamic, thermal, mechanical, static, arising from the parking of heavy aircrafts, and this is not a complete list of loads that fiberglass pipes must withstand. Our products fully meet all the requirements for the aerodrome construction.

GRP pipes "NTT ROAD" have high corrosion resistance, excellent hydraulic characteristics, low weight, which allows to widely use the products in restoring and improving the parameters of existing culverts. Application of pipes as inner fiberglass composite layer in the existing culvert allows to restore and prolong the lifetime of the facility and improve its hydraulic and strength properties.

GRP jacking pipes of high stiffness NTT ROAD mounted by microtunnelling method.

Microtunnelling is a trenchless technology that allows quick laying of culverts to replace, repair etc., without traffic collapses. The jacking pipe is designed for laying by microtunneling, auger boring, puncturing (trenchless pipeline laying methods when the pipe is pressed through the ground) for long distances. The puncturing method is used where traffic is heavy.

Properties

The diameter (DN) of fiberglass pipes "NTT ROAD" is determined by the inner size and measured in millimeters. The range of pipe sizes in mm: DN 300 - 4000 mm

The nominal ring stiffness (SN) of pipes is measured in N/m² and varies in the following range:

NTT ROAD fiberglass pipes have a safety reserve 1.5 times higher than their nominal value.

Pipeline installation

Pipe selection of the required parameters is based on the ODM 218.2.001-2009 "Recommendations for the design and construction of culverts from corrugated metal structures for public roads, taking into account regional conditions (road and climatic zones)".

GRP pipes, as opposed to steel, cast iron, polyethylene pipes, are easy and convenient to install. During pipes installation the following types of connections are not used: welding, spigot connection, additional sealing agents and hermetic. Fiberglass pipes are connected by a coupling placed on the pipe. When installing it is important to follow the operating conditions
